How to Carve a Pumpkin
This how to was created for Swati Chopra's How to project. My goal was to create a how to that celebrated the Halloween season. The goal with this poster was to create a simple to understand graphic that allows anyone to understand how to carve pumpkins. Made sure to allow the colors behind the holiday to allow the design to feel apart of the season. The title used 'Bookman JF' to create a vine like appearance.
How to Carve a Pumpkin design process
The design originally began with a rough sketch done in Adobe Illustrator to showcase the layout, graphics, and design concept. Once approved I began cleaning up the graphic designs, simplifying the layout, numbering the spots, making the colors consistent, With the final set of revisions I changed the font to be simple and removed any unnecessary detail from the graphics.
