The American Psycho Book cover was created for Swati Chopra's Book cover project. We were tasked to create a book cover for two books either real or fictional. One of the books I chose was American Psycho due to the nature of the book having a very strong visual identity. The final design I came up with is meant to represent ripped up office paper covered in blood with the city of New York bleed into it. The font chosen was "Bookman JF" due to its prominent usage in the 1980s and the glyph creating a hand like object that could hold a knife.
